SOE / Endpoint Administrator, Theo Nowak - Theo is the hands-on person who actually builds and runs Tessera’s Standard Operating Environment. He bakes the endpoint images, sets Office and macro policy, applies the browser and application hardening, and pushes patches out to the fleet across Perth, Sydney and the Malaga ops centre. He reports to Hamish Boyd and speaks to the messy operating reality that management-level policy tends to gloss over: where the running config drifts from the standard, where carve-outs quietly become permanent, and where the legacy Malaga footprint makes “good” expensive. He is candid, practical, and clear that a control being documented is not the same as it being enforced.
Interview focus: Press this person on their own area of responsibility, and on the gap between what the documents claim and what is actually enforced. They will speak to where things are messy, but they will not hand you a conclusion — establishing that is your job.
